Who We Are

ABOUT US

The APH (Association of Physically Handicapped) is a NGO that is transforming the lives of physically challenged in Belagavi since the year of 1972. We have several programs to empower the differently abled and make them stand on their own in the society. Our programs include providing the education, job opportunity and hostel facilities for the underprivileged people with disability.

An inclusive society free from discrimination where persons with disabilities become contributing members, living with dignity and respect.

Our Mission

To empower visually impaired, disabled and underprivileged people through developmental initiatives focusing on educational, social, economic, cultural and technological aspects.

Our Services

WHAT WE DO

APH Hostel

Our hostel for the disabled is free to stay for physically challenged, the hostel has 30 beds. Each person is given a cot, cotton mattress with a cotton pillow, Mosquito Net, a Chaddar, and hot water Our hostel has disabled friendly ramp for easy movement.

APH Nursery School

We provide the best education with curriculum mapped smart classes, we have hygienic, safe and CCTV secured premises. We also provide co-curricular activities such as Yoga and Meditation. We provide school uniform, books, tiffin box, water bottle and other educational materials. We conduct yearly picnics for children.

Pension for Divyangjan

We help the people with disabilities to get their pension as well as other benefits from the Government. We also help to get the disability certificate and UDID card.

Bride & Groom Information

We conduct state and national level matrimonial meet every year, we arrange free marriages for selected bride and groom.

Bus & Railway Pass

We help to get the bus and railway passes for physically challenged people. We also assist in getting the concessional railway ticket for handicapped persons

Jobs for Divyangjan

We help physically challenged people to get the job based on their education. Our motto is to make divyangjan financially self-supported.

Wheelchair for Needy

We provide wheelchair, try-cycle and walker for needy Divyang people.

Disabled Driving School

We teach car driving for disabled persons with no cost, we help disabled persons to drive on their own strength and will power so they can also become a good driver like a normal person.

APH Bharat Gas Unit

Agency started in the year of 1982 with the support of Bharat Petrolium, we are serving 10,000+ people surrouding 5KM of agency location.

Training Center for Divyangjan

Candle making, box making, wire basket sewing, rubber stamp making, bookbinding, bamboo arts etc.

What We Did

OUR IMPACT

APH (The Association of Physically Handicapped Belagavi) is serving the physically challenged people since 1972, we have served thousands of needy divyangs and brought the significant changes in their lives.

Life is more challenging for divyangs so our aim is to make it easier by providing the support they need, we trust in “Grow Together” policy so we take care of every single physically challenged person who join with us.

We are proud of our accomplishments towards the needy divyangs.
